MErle Jam Heart Transplant Fund
Heart Transplant Recipients in the Kansas City area have been the source of inspiration for our annual fundraiser concert. The MerleJam Transplant Fund was established by Merle Zuel, heart recipient and president of the Kansas City Chapter of TRIO. For ease of accounting beginning in 2011, all donations will be made to KC TRIO, a 501c3 organization, and then TRIO will make a contribution to Saint Luke’s Hospital Foundation-MerleJam Transplant Fund Federal Tax ID # 44-601-4699 . The fund is used to provide assistance to pre- and post-op heart transplant patients and their families. The fund is administered by the Foundation and the Heart Institute Social Worker. Private donations are always welcome and should be made to: Kansas City Chapter of TRIO
Donations to KC Chapter of TRIO are tax deductible and will help with our continued local and national efforts to provide Education, Awareness and Advocacy for transplant recipients, candidates and family members. INFO@KCTRIO.ORG for more information.
