Peter Monahan has been making films professionally in North America since 1989.  Monahan studied film at NYU and has worked with acclaimed directors such as Alex Cox and John Woo.   His documentary subjects have involved such prominent icons as former Mexican President Vicente Fox, consumer advocate Ralph Nader, and civil rights pioneers Rosa Parks and Jesse Jackson. 

In addition to documentary production, he has also done commercial work for the likes of Soloflex, Timex & adidas. 

Outside of film work he has also maintained a career as an educator.  Originally from Central Washington state, he now resides in Portland, Oregon and teaches high school Spanish in a small rural school.
