The creative potential of digital tools lead Gordon to explore the imaginative opportunities technology brings to students. Gordon Worley is a veteran educator with 30 years experience working with K-12 and higher education in the areas of visual arts and technology. After twenty years of facilitating the creative process with students he was encouraged to leave the classroom to explore the power technology brings to learning. Over the past twelve years Gordon has been offering professional development to educators across the State of Florida. Presently, he is a team leader working on developing and implementing the Florida Digital Educator program.

In 2007 Gordon was recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator. He is certified in Photoshop CS4, Dreamweaver CS3, Logic Pro 8 and a Verizon Thinkfinity certified trainer. As state administrator for ThinkQuest Florida and Verizon Thinkfinity in Florida he leads a team of Master Digital Educators as they implement the Florida Digital Educator program.
