Space-efficient storage and display

I needed space-efficient storage for my workshop, and didn’t want to lose my readily-accessible sharpening station. I also happen to have some very attractive hand planes and thought they’d make a good display.

The big issue was hanging space - tools hanging round the back and sides tend to be awkward to put away and therefore encourage untidiness - and I don’t need encouragement!

I solved that with ‘vertical drawers’ which provide double-sided boards for hanging tools, but slide out of the way.
