Probably the person who taught me most - although at the time I don’t think I appreciated that.

It would be easy to say that we had eight wonderful years with Glen. In truth, I guess we had eight fairly typical years of parenthood - some wonderful times and some testing times - he warmed us, delighted us, worried and infuriated us, just the way all children do with their parents. One thing he always did, though, was love us, and we can’t ask for a lot more than that.
