Tutoring
Tutoring
While my primary focus is in the classroom, I have found that even the best of teachers cannot narrow in on the learning styles of each and every single student. Often students need small group environments or even individual instruction to reach their full academic potential. With this in mind, I have designated weekends and after school hours to assisting a diversity of learners through tutoring. Find the tutoring service that best fits the student’s needs from the following offers:
Individual Tutoring: Individual tutoring gives the students the opportunity to work at their own pace with the guidance and instruction of a personal tutor.
Small Group Tutoring: Small group tutoring is aimed for a group of 3-4 students in the same course with similar abilities. These sessions prove beneficial for students who need a little more time to ask questions and practice problem than they would otherwise have in class.
Parallels: This is a semester long program that runs along with the course the student is taking in school. These sessions are taken in a small class setting (8-10 students) and are offered to help students gain additional information and receive a different perspective while working with the same curriculum.
Exam Preparation: Offered a month previous to Provincial, IB and AP exams. These are small group settings which review the course and expose students to the type of questions traditionally found on standardized exams.
