Hide Laboratory for computational biology

Collaborations

We work with the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, Stanford Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, the Melanoma Research Alliance, the South African National Bioinformatics Institute and the Riken Institute.

At Harvard we collaborate across the School of Public Health, Dana Farber and Harvard Medical School

We study disease gene systems - using computational biology to organize and manipulate omics data to yield discoveries. We work on cancer stem cells, infectious and, chronic diseases and basic processes of the cell. We work on novel ways to determine how genes are regulated in their expression and interactions in these systems.

The Hide lab is part of the department of biostatistics at HSPH. Dr. Hide is Director of the HSPH Bioinformatics Core, and is an executive member of the Program for Quantitative Genomics at HSPH. He is an affiliate of the Ludwig Institute of Cancer Research, the Harvard Stem Cell Institute

and is visiting professor at the South African National Bioinformatics Institute, University of Western Cape
