What prevents the coolant from flowing straight down the left tank and avoiding the fins all together? The left tank is divided in two, a top half and bottom half. The division is just above the temp sensor location, which means that the temp sensor is at the top of the bottom half. The radiator is about 5” shorter (in width) of the stock radiator. Coolant flows around the outside of the tube and through the center. The center section is colored green to show where the coolant flows. Inside the tube are several groups of fins. Oil enters one of the -10AN ports, travels through finned area, and out the other -10AN port.
