Maruha Motors - Order Arrives! Tuesday, September 8, 2009 Wow, wow, and WOW! I walked into work today to find that my Maruha order had arrived! Wow #1 - Super-fast delivery. I placed the order on Thursday evening and it arrived on Tuesday. I believe that it would have actually arrived on Monday had it not been a US holiday (Labor Day). My building was closed for delivery anyway. Shipping cost was $45. I have paid significantly more for significantly slower shipping from within the US!! Wow #2 - The packaging. I have always thought it was odd that people take pictures of the boxes and packing stuffs when they receive orders. What nerds! Apparently, I have become one of those nerds. I was very impressed with the quality and careful packaging. Each item was double-wrapped, usually in a foam bag and then in bubble wrap. A foil Maruha Motors decal was attached to each item’s wrapping. Opening the box and unwrapping the items felt like Christmas morning! Wow #3 - Quality product. Each item seems to be the product of precise development and thoughtful engineering. Can’t wait to start bolting things together. I must also say that the entire experience, especially the prompt and friendly customer service from Maruha, has made the whole experience great.
