    <richText>&lt;b&gt;The cylinders are now in the honing stage, and almost done at that.&#xD;&#xD;As mentioned earlier, the honing process comes after boring.  Boring is used to remove large amounts of material, but it leaves a rough surface.  The honing process is almost like polishing.  A very small amount of material is used but the finished surface is very smooth.  I learned today that there is indeed such a thing as &#x2018;too smooth&#x201D;.
