<richText>I’ve seen pictures of engine bays with the wired “tucked”, which basically means that all of the wires, fuse boxes, and emissions controls have been relocated or removed entirely. I like the clean look of it, but i can’t imagine it would be ideal for a track/race specific car. That said, there are an amazing amount of unnecessary wires under the hood of a Miata. More importantly, the wires are not all that neat.Since the throttle bodies and air box will take up a yet unknown amount of space, and I expect that quite a bit will be neaded, I decided to clean up the wires under the hood. All of the classes I run with also allow the complete emission controls to be removed, and while I won’t go that far, I will tidy things up a bit.I am also going to bring in a few new sensors to feed the new gauges and data aquisition system. Before I run the new lines, I’d like to clean up the existing ones.PICTURES: Wire management & underhood shots.</richText>
