Prodyn was born by its 2 founding members Andrew Ho and Shawn Zambri in a Burger king on a boardwalk in Maryland. Shawn and I performed in the same high school jazz band and then later became great friends quickly noticing that they share one thing in common. METAL!!!. We decided to set up a weekend were we could just jam. This was sometime time right before the summer like June. It was Shawn and I and another character that I soon became much acquainted with, Bobby c. at the time he was our second guitar player.

    When the summer began Andrew Ho had to go on tour with the drum core jersey surf to peruse a career in music and go to California. When he got back it was still just the 3 of us. We decided that 3 members are not enough to show our expression of metal to the world. So we started looking for new member. The search was yet an adventure and a pain in the ass.

    We searched and searched and by the time we knew it our first gig was a week away and we still didn't have a basset and vocalist. So we got a fill in for bass and no vocals. Our show was beastly anyway and was a good line drawn for the rest of our careers. After the show I asked people how they thought of the band and they were like its pretty hip stuff.

    My good friend Steve Rizzo (dragon master extraordinare), former guitar player for Dante loses weight, said he really like our sound. I then asked him if he wanted to be in this with us and he said yea. So we moved bobby to bass because he is just talented and can do everything. Then it was a search for a vocalist. Since the searches were unsuccessful we had to pick someone with a good voice that we could train cause all the screamers in our school didn't want to be in the band cause they thought they were to good. So I asked a kid that I sort knew and I could tell by his voice that he would have some good screams.

    After using Funk Daddie Productions once they immediately demanded we come to every show.
