Maybe you’re looking into squash and want to know which racket is right for you; or you want to start practicing but are unsure of how to best use your time.  Want to know good workout routines for the squash enthusiast?  Want to get involved and become a qualified referee for national and regional events?

We can help you.

The BSRF cordially invites you to our monthly clinics held throughout the various clubs and instructed by BSRF Head Coach, Will Mather, with the occasional special guests coming in from around the globe.  Let us help to further your understanding of the game and how you can improve tactically and physically.

BSRF National Head Coach Will Mather

is originally from Honolulu, HI (USA) and

played at the renowned Honolulu Club as

one of the club’s premier squash players.

A former NCAA Football and Track & Field Athlete at Whitworth University (2000), triathlete, and Club administrator, Mather brings over 15 years experience in athletic performance and administration that led him to the rigors of the squash court.

Mather trained under Ken Kawamoto (Honolulu Club/Prince) and consulted with Jonathan Perry (Eng), former US #1 (Decathlon Club, Black Knight).  He especially credits the players and friends at Honolulu Club for pushing him further in the game.  Mather brings expert knowledge of squash and athletic performance, adopting a high-pressure, entertaining merging of English squash with an attacking, fast-paced and volley centric squash typical of Pakistan & Egypt.

“Since the adoption of PAR 11 as the international scoring standard, I believe the game has elevated to unprecedented heights of speed, consistency and precision.  The success of BSRF players will ultimately rely upon their preparedness for such elements of the game and a near reflexive response to it.  To that end is where I, as Head Coach, will craft our practices, training camps, clinics and workout sessions.  You will see competitive success, I assure you.

As an administrator and entrepreneur, we obviously must first serve our local families and present them with opportunities within squash.  Regionally, we want be relevant in our partnerships, investing in the resources offered by the Asian Squash Federation to inject our patrons into the greater whole of the squash community.”  -- Will Mather.

Will and his wife, Rachal, live in Uttara.  Both are from Honolulu, Hawaii (USA) where they are entrepreneurs.  Both are graduates of Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, USA.  Mather signed on with the Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation as National Coach for the nationwide development of the sport in advance of the South Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
