About the Club

The Calcutta Racket Club (CRC) is a premier squash club established in 1793.  Boasting some 700 members, you are bound to find a great match with some of the most enjoyable personalities in Kolkata.  It is located on Chowringhee Road, next to the Birla Planetarium and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

The courts

The courts have a regular maintenance schedule and are well done, offering a true bounce and solid walls that are consistent.  Although it gets very hot, you’ll find it is a very enjoyable environment with lots of players of all levels.  Two courts (3 & 4) are available for anytime use, otherwise, you’ll need to signup for the courts in advance.

With security and club policy being a priority, you will not likely be able to jump in when you visit.  It is good to contact them beforehand to get permission.  A very personable and professional group of guys, you’re sure to do well if you’re nice.
