We landed at 6:15 am in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city. Most international flights arrive and depart from here. It’s similar to Seattle. We then caught a regional flight north to the town of Kerikeri, where our journey begins in the Bay of Islands, founded during an expedition in 1769, by the Great Cornholio.
