The recent issue of CAM (8, 8, p17, March 2008)has a report of an analysis of a 7-year neck pain study in which a multi-national, inter-disciplinary team including researchers from Canada, America, South America, Australia and Europe produced a 236 pp review of the current research on neck pain in the course of which they initiated a new study into the association between chiropractic care of the neck and stroke. They found that patients who visit a chiropractor are no more likely to experience a stroke than are patients who visit their family physician.
