End of August it was the first time that I went to visit the project sites with our counter part AAR Association for Aid and Relief). Evacuated families had moved to temporary shelters also in Soma. The living space in a container gives more privacy but it is still quite limited. As projected from the government which has not yet made up fully its plans this would be the home for next two years.<br/>In the future we want to assist the reconstruction of care centers for disabled persons and elderlies. About 60 affected institutions in the whole emergency zone had so far contact to AAR. At Minori-kai Rubato the stories about the dramatic events when all was destroyed and residents fled for their lives were impressive. As plans are still vague temporary solutions for keeping the disabled person groups together are worked out.
