During three weeks the distribution of supplementary food like soy beans, vegetable oil and sugar to TB and Hepatitis Care Centers was accompanied at the spot. Out of 100 centers 22 located in the provinces South and North Pyongan, South and North Hwanghae, Kangwon and South Hamkyong were visited.

Beside food aid and assistance to food production the centers received medical equipment like microscopes and X-ray films. In four medical institutions equipment for the production of herbal medicine was handed over. Herbal medicine plays an important role in treating TB and Hepatitis patients.

With the third round the Hepatitis B Vaccination Campaign was completed in the provinces South and North Hwanghae and Kangwon. A total of 977.748 students in the age of 7-16 years had received the vaccination.
