    <richText>Beginning of February North Korean Ministry of Public Health started a Hepatitis B Vaccination Campaign for 500.000 children in Pyongyang area. CI-DPRK Program provides vaccine and syringes. At kindergarten and primary and middle schools 1.600 teams of doctors and nurses vaccinated in 3 days the children between 07 and 17 years old. The vaccination has to be repeated twice after one and two months.&#xD;North Korea started again the regular HB vaccination for newborns in 2004 which means that children born before have no protection. Hepatitis B is mainly transmitted from mother to child during pregnancy.</richText>
