On October 19 DPR-Korean Ministry of Public Health started with the second phase of the Hepatitis B Vaccination Campaign. In North- and South Pyongan Provinces about 1 Million pupils in the age between 7 and 16 years have received the first out of 3 injections. From October 19 until 23 we participated in the Campaign and visited 3 primary and 3 secondary schools in Pyongsong, Anju and Chollima. Beside the schools medical stores in Anju and Chollima were visited as well to observe the storage facilities for the vaccine.
The shipment of Hepatitis B vaccine and syringes for the second and third rounds left Incheon Port to Dandong on October 27.
