Robby Sawyer ran Sunday night, March 22nd at Chowchilla Speedway for their opening night.  Twenty-six cars showed up, and Sawyer started his heat outside front row with heavy hitters such as Pounds, Chadwick, McDaniels, Stanford among others.  Robby finished 5th in his heat locking him into the main.  He started 13th in the main event, while running 14th Sawyer touched the fence blowing out the right rear tire.  Sawyer had to pit and without a caution coming out, he came back out on the track but not before going multiple laps down. He finished 17th place.  “The car was horrible all night, we have made a lot of changes for this Sunday’s race and we look forward to racing at Chowchilla Speedway” stated Sawyer.

Next race will be this Sunday March 29 at Chowchilla Speedway, the pit gates will open at 11am racing starts at 1pm, this is a day race.
