The house is 1700 square feet with a large (1000 sq ft) open living area downstairs with three study areas, a kitchen bathroom and a wood stove for heating.  Upstairs, in 700 sq ft, it has three bedrooms with south facing sliding glass doors and an open connecting hallway.  There is ample parking below the house.  The property has two swimming pools, one of which is kept warm most of the time year round for therapeutic work.  The house has a washer and dryer on the back deck and a dishwasher and disposal in the kitchen. The property has hiking trails and access to the state park.

The house is ideal for 4 people including a couple, or three singles.  By special arrangement, it can accommodate five.  This is a quiet setting and the owners, who live on the property in the main house, would prefer relatively quiet tenants. Also, no tobacco smokers please - the house is smoke free and the woods are too close for comfort outside.  Cats are welcome (unless they will terrorize the other local cats) and a good idea.  Dogs only by special arrangement.  There is already one dog on the property.

 

There are three living units on the property and we have always had a congenial community here.  We hope to keep it that way.  References from prior tenants are available.
