     Mean Body mass decreased significantly over the course of CR (fig.1.)


     A significant decrease in RMR was seen. An interaction effect of LM occurred on RMR, whilst there was                                  

          no effect of FM or Tb on RMR.


    Body composition- LM and FM were both significantly reduced.



    Tb was significantly reduced. Analysis showed no interaction between Tb and RMR.


    Activity (fig.2.) :


                       Total activity in dark phase- showed no change over CR, but was affected by a decrease in body                  

                       mass.

                      Total activity in light phase- increased significantly. BM had no effect overall.

                     

                     Total daily activity- showed no change over CR. Was effected by a decrease in body mass.


    FAA- increased significantly. Had an interaction with BM, but was not affected by BM change.
