What Christmas Means to Me
What Christmas Means to Me
2010
Christmas is my favorite time of the year because I love the feeling of the atmosphere it brings...love, joy, excitement and happiness. Holiday music starts playing in the Montalvo residence November 1st. I love driving around in neighborhoods to look at all the beautiful lights and decorations. Every Christmas my family has traditions that take place. We always celebrate Christmas with my husband’s side of the family on Christmas Eve and we spend Christmas with my side of the family on Christmas day. Christmas day starts out with a full fledged breakfast at Granny’s house, then we open presents and eat homemade cookies. Then we all drive over to Mom and Dad’s place for Christmas dinner and open more presents. My Aunt, Uncle and cousin usually join us for dinner as well. There is just something grand about being around the ones you love. I could careless about the gifts, just give me my family and I will be a happy camper. I always tell myself I never want Christmas to end. It’s okay, cause I just have 11 months to look forward to another wonderful Christmas! Take time to enjoy your family and the ones you love this year.
