The system allows looks to be created in real time during production, allowing the Cinematographer to adjust for lighting and story subtleties while capturing the full range of the camera’s image. Because the system is fully compliant with the ASC CDL (Color Decision List), looks established on location flow downstream for color corrected dailies. The ASC CDL is carried through editorial and to final color correction for a more efficient Post Production experience. The result is a new level of creative control for Cinematographers and Directors during principal photography. This system has film print emulation calibrated for cinevator film out  may also serve as the core of a digital rear-screen projection system. The workflow is simple: rear screen and reflection plates are played from a digital source on set, routed through system for real-time color balancing and then sent to calibrated digital cinema projectors.
