Bigger than France!

My cousins Max and Ellia are leaving and moving to Texas.  I guess Aunt Sanne and Uncle Neal thought the weather here was too boring, and besides, there aren't nearly as many cool bugs here as in Texas.  Anyhow,  I’m going to spend some time and go over all things Texan.  I’ve been to Texas you know.
Here I am getting ready to catch a flight from Dallas.  Dallas is in Texas.  I’ve been there twice, so I know quite a bit about Texas.  I might even have been there more, but I only know how to count to two, so I’m really not sure. I bet Max or Ellia will start asking me some questions about “The Big D” pretty soon since I’m practically a Texan!
You gotta be a cowboy if your gonna live in Texas.  I thought we’d go through a few riding lessons just so Max and Ellia can have some idea what they need to know when they get there.
Always make sure the handle is attached.  I hang on real tight to this when I ride.  I would hate to have it fall off.  I hear the English haven’t figured out that a handle is good to have, since their saddles don’t have handles.
Daddy do you have a screw driver.  I think it’s loose.
Don’t forget to put your hat on.  You do have a cowboy hat, right?
Yeeehaaa!!
You have to make sure your gear is ready and in tip top shape when corralling one of these big Texas Longhorns!
Hat, saddle, belt... what am I forgetting.  Horse, I need a horse!
I can’t believe I forgot a horse.  I’m so embarrassed!

I’m going to talk to my friend Stevi.  She lives in Washington and she has her own horses.  Stevi, can I borrow a horse?
Steady girl, steady...
Here I am at full gallup.  Make sure you hang on to the handle.
Mommy do you think you could have zoomed in a bit?!  I know I told them I forgot the horse, but it’s a little obvious here.
I hope this little series gave you a taste of Texas, where men are men and...

Oh great Mommy, you got my pacifier in the picture.
Finally, in case you don’t know, some famous people are from Texas.  Can you guess who they are?
And don’t forget...
