Creator / Father / Deliverer / Redeemer

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have always been.  They are three persons that make one.

God the Father created the universe and everything in it.

God the Son was born and lived on this earth as Jesus.

God the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within you when you ask for Gods forgiveness of your sins.

How does that work?

God is perfect and nothing compares to his power. God created the universe and everything in it.  He has always been and always will be.  He knows everything about everyone and everything.  He knows what you’ve done and what you will do. He knows how many hairs are on your head right now.  He knows your thoughts right now.  There is nothing about you that God doesn’t know.  He knows how many pieces of sand are on the seashore.

God created us in his image and wants to know us.  He created us in a way that we can choose what we do.  It’s called free will.  Will you do what’s right? Will you do what’s wrong?  Those choices are up to you.  He didn’t want us to praise him because he makes us, He wants us to choose to praise him.  We know Adam and Eve, the first people he created, sinned against God and broke that perfect relationship. This broke mankind's connection with the Holy Spirit. God said that the result of sin is death and separation from Him.  But, did you know he cares about everything he created, the Bible says He even takes care of the sparrows.  He loves us so much that He didn’t want us to be separated from him.

God sent his only son, Jesus, that was born as a man on this earth.  This is why we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Savior.  He lived a perfect and sinless life as he grew up from a child to a man.  The people around him didn’t believe he was God’s son.  They were angry that he would claim such a thing.  Even though they saw His miracles they still didn’t believe.  Even though He fulfilled all the prophecies  they still didn’t believe.  But, that was Gods plan.  He had to come to pay for our sins.  He loved us so much that He knew he could die in our place for the payment of our sins.  All those bad things we do.  He did this by dying on the cross, but He didn’t stay dead, he arose from the grave three days later and concurred death. This is why we celebrate Easter!

After that, he showed himself to many people.  He told them that he would leave to be with His Father, God, but he would send the Holy Spirit in his place. He fixed that broken relationship we had with God.  All we need to do it believe in Him and ask for his forgiveness.  He will forgive any sin you have done, from the smallest to the biggest.  Sins are all the same to Him.  Once you do this, you will have the connection to the Holy Spirit I just wrote about.  That’s a piece of God that connects you to him.  He will never leave you.  You will be with Him forever, even if you die on this earth you will be with him forever.

If you have question then ask your sunday school teachers.  They would love to share more with you :-)
