A native of Germany Joachim has been playing the drums professionally for 20 years now. He studied at the renowned Dante Agostini Drum School École de batterie Dante Agostini  http://www.danteagostini.com being awarded two 1st Prize Diplomas for his studies in Duesseldorf and Paris. Having lived in Germany and the last 10 years in London he has performed, toured and recorded with Chaka Khan, The John O'Leary Band, Damien McCabe's Real Feel, award winning singer-/songwriter Chantelle Pike, Arteast (Turkey), Andy Cortes Band, Ian Siegal, Earl Green, Lazenby, John McKenzie (Bass), Bass clinician Markus Setzer (DVD 'Discover Your Groove 1.0'), Composer Kai Dorenkamp (Germany), Dominique Vantomme (Belgium), Lars Lillo-Stenberg (Norway), Producer Michael Wolff, Positive Arrogance (Russia), The Musical 125th Street (London West End), percussion show TRASH! (UK), Charles Womack, pop group SMILE (Germany) and many others. Here in San Francisco he's one of the founding members of Latin-Blues-Rock Band 'Los Diablos de Amor' apart from playing many other gigs in the Bay Area and having just joined the newly reformed Prog-Rock Band 'Quasar'.
