Terrance Yan graduated from San Francisco State University with the Bachelor of Music degree on Violin Performance under the direction of Jassen Todorov. Enthusiastic on teaching, Terrance has students in different parts of the Bay Area. He also appears as soloist and guest instructor of various K-12 schools and colleges ensembles.

As an active performer, Terrance performs in various chamber music ensemble and orchestra such as the Symphony Parnassus and San Francisco Sinfonietta.  

Terrance is currently working on his Master of Music degree in San Francisco State University as a recipient of the Nagel Scholarship under the direction of Zakarias Grafilo.
