Sean Smith has 20 years music experience.  He is well versed in all styles of music for guitar and bass, acoustic and electric, and specializes in finger-style guitar.  His teaching style reflects the energy and interests of the individual student with an emphasis on creativity and personal expression.   

Smith has toured the United States and Europe several times playing acoustic finger-style guitar and electric rock guitar both solo and ensemble.  He has released two solo guitar albums, “Sean Smith” (2005) and “Sacred Crag Dancer Corpse Whisperer” (2006) as well as “Eternal” (2008) a collaborative album.  He has compiled and produced two guitarist compilations, “Berkeley Guitar” (2006) and “Beyond Berkeley Guitar” (2010) and has appeared on a number of compilations.  His holiday music album “Christmas” (2010) is a very fresh and creative take on classic tunes.  Smith also plays in the band, Citay and a Black Sabbath cover band, Bobb Saggeth.
