Music came into Perry’s life at a very early age inspired by his father, Sonny Rossi, a well-known New York band leader. By the age of 4, as one of the youngest entertainers in the world, he was being featured at New York nightclubs and made frequent television appearances. His natural stage personality was such a hit with audiences that his show expanded and became the opening act for such major headliners as Tony Bennett, Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Jackie Mason, and dozens of others.
Perry holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Binghampton University and was accepted in the Masters Program at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. He also studied under Samuel Adler, a protoge of Paul Hindermith.
The depth of his talent and versatility coupled with his warm, honest approach to the high professional standards he sets for himself has earned him a name and reputation as one of the top musicians in New England.
He has been the owner and leader of Perry Rossi Orchestras since the late 1980’s and prides himself on providing bands for every type of musical event. His groups are made up of some of the best performers on the East Coast .
He also owns and manages Pear Tree Music Productions, a state-of-the-art recording studio located in Pembroke, MA,
