All the Vikes showed up for one last time trial before the new school year.  All the runners showed great determination and worked their butts off out there!  5 of the 7 Varsity Girls PR’d by 40 seconds or more on the Central Park 3 mile course.   3 of the 7 Varsity Boys PR’d, one by 20 seconds and two by a minute! Watch out for the Vikes!

SEASIDE INVITATIONAL

Our first invitational of the 2008 season will take place on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2008 AT 2:00PM

CLASS RELEASE WILL BE AT 12:00 DURING 5TH PERIOD. THE BUS WILL LEAVE AT 12:15 SHARP SO BE READY AND DRESSED WITH SHOES ON!

It is going to be held at the SAN BUENAVENTURA STATE BEACH PARK

DIRECTIONS

Going North on 101 Frwy. Take Seaward exit, go West (left) on Seaward, turn right on Pierpont and take Pierpont to the entrance to the San Beuenaventura State Beach.

The course will begin and end inside the Ventura State Beach Park. It is a flat 3 mile course on a bike path in the park and along the beach.

PARKING WILL BE $7.00

Medals will be given out to the first 65 finishers in each race and trophies will be given to the first 10 teams, the fastest boy and girl of the day and to any runner who breaks a divisional record!
