An Invitation to spend...

NEW YEARS EVE IN DHARMA WOODS

3pm New Years Eve, Saturday 31st December 2011, till 11-ish the next morning, Sunday 1st January 2012...

Step out into 2012

facilitated by Sudakini and Vajralila

Do something different and something different will happen!

Stay awake all night in the woods! We are practicing WAKING UP, so lets STAY AWAKE!

The focus of this overnight ritual will be around letting go of what keeps us in our ego prison and encouraging what helps us embrace the elemental wildness of reality.

We will begin with a Puja and meditation followed by a shared dinner. There will be workshops to review the year in the light of our Buddhist values.

We will have a shamanic journey to heal any hurts and a mini vision quest to develop intentions for 2012.

There will be time as the evening progresses to have fruit punch and snacks whilst sharing any songs (I will have my IPOD so let me know if you want anything putting on it), poems or reflections with each other. We will move into 108 Vajrasattva mantras purifying us and taking us up to midnight.

We will then begin 2012 by dancing with the elements in the dark in the clearing.

We will all sleep in the round house (unless you prefer to bring your own small tent) and when we wake we can eat breakfast together before going home.

This special event is open to people with an established meditation and dharma practice who are emotionally and physically robust and able to take responsibility for their own needs. Spaces are limited so first to book get places.

No charge, Dana appreciated.

If you would like to offer help with food, punch, or making a shrine etc, please do let us know.

For any of these events please book: email vajralila@me.com

Please note: Due to English weather unpredictability these days may have to be postponed on occasion so please check your email before you leave.

Dharma woods welcomes all but assumes that each individual takes responsibility for their own needs

(such as medication, health issues etc)
