These retreats are for lesbians with an interest in meditation. You can be new to meditation, wanting to learn more about mediation or you can have a meditation practice and want to take your experience deeper.
A Meditation Retreat
A retreat is an excellent opportunity to explore meditation and in a beautiful environment away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Going on retreat can bring a much needed sense of calm and clarity, as well as a renewed sense of purpose.
When you go on retreat you leave behind the complexities of modern life in order to truly relax. At the same time retreats aren’t just ‘holidays away from it all’. They are designed to allow you to deepen your awareness of yourself, other people, and the world around you.

The Retreat Programme
There will be a daily programme of meditation, including some bodywork, instruction in meditation, discussion groups and talks. There is also time to make friends, sit in the beautiful gardens and explore the local countryside.
During the retreat we are living as a community sharing meals and accommodation. It is an excellent opportunity to build community and develop not only kindness and awareness of ourselves but kindness and awareness towards others. There are many opportunities in each day to show consideration and awareness of others but also included on the programme is time to do a daily task to help the running of the retreat, e.g. washing up or chopping vegetables.
All meals are vegetarian.
