USMMA Mourns the Passing of M/N Marisa Sanchez '13
The following is a message from the Academy Chief of Staff:
Members of the Kings Point Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I must report the death of Midshipman Marisa Sanchez, 4/c. MIDN Sanchez, 19, collapsed during softball practice on Tuesday evening. She was stabilized by our EMT squad, and then transported to the hospital, where she passed away last night.
Final Voyage - Kathy Joerger, Wife of KPWDC Member Jim Joerger KP '74
It is with sadness we pass you the news that Kathy Joerger, wife of chapter member John Joerger KP '74 passed away on June 2nd after a valiant 6 year fight against cancer. The family is requesting gifts to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
The Officers and Executive Board of the KPWDC pass this news along with our condolences and prayers.
