You might have thought that riding a motorbike is beyond you, think again.  With a bike ready for you to try, the Bike Experience Charity can give you a half-day course at Castle Combe Race Track, which will show you just how easy it is to carry on riding.

The Bike Experience Charity have a number of motorbikes, which have been adapted for use by any paraplegic.  Talan, who founded the charity, will be one of the instructors taking you through the day.  He is a T4/5 complete, so if he can do it, YOU CAN.

There are three Levels to go through, should you wish to.  The first is the basic experience, which gets you back on a bike and the second gets you riding around a track.  The third gets you ready to join in a track day with 50 other riders, having taught you the subtle differences between riding now as opposed to full able-bodied riding.  It also gives you a code of conduct for track days, as developed through consultation with circuit owners and track day companies.  Once you have been awarded Level 3 part II, you will be offered a FREE TRACK DAY with Focused Events.

Welcome to ‘The Bike Experience’

“After getting back to the pit lane, reaching a whopping 113 MPH on my last lap, I had a grin ear to ear under that helmet of mine, which stayed there for days after.”

“I never thought after my accident i would ever feel the adrenaline rush of being able to ride again, but the bike experience definately proved me wrong!”
