bear lake, utah cabin

After several years of looking and dreaming we finally took the plunge and just negotiated the purchase on a new cabin in Garden City, Utah right on the Bear Lake. We had purchased land above Fairview, Utah a few years ago with the idea of building a cabin but with the market on houses and cabins dropping so fast we couldn’t help but take advantage of the situation to purchase this newly built cabin. The builder just finished it up a few weeks ago and was deep in debt and needed to get out of it quickly. We were able to pick it up for a great price! We should close on it in late March! The you can see some other pictures and a map of where it’s located on the BEAR LAKE CABIN tab above!

Bella joins the family!

After a couple years of hints and suggestions from Karen and the kids we finally got a family dog. Her name is Bella and she is the sweetest Labradoodle in the world! Everyone is having a blast with her since she arrived a week ago. Paige won’t let her have a seconds rest as Paige carries Bella around from the moment she gets up to the moment she goes to bed!

2008 madison & paige winter piano recital

Madison and Paige had their Winter recital last night. This was the 1st recital for Paige, who just started having piano lessons 4-months ago. She is Tamara’s youngest student and she did a very good job as did Madie. Madie has been taking lessons for a couple years now and is doing a great job!! We took movies of their playing and they are posted in the Movies tab on our web-site and on Youtube.

Madison is seven years old!

It’s hard to believe, but our little baby girl turned 7 on November 27th!! It just so happens that every six-years her birthday falls on Thanksgiving day so she had to share the big day with the holiday. We had Grandpa Lynne, Grandma Donna, Collette, Shane, Daisy, my sister Tylene, and her husband Bob over for the combined event. It was the 1st time I’ve been with my sister on any major holiday or other visit in many years so that was neat. We all had a great time and in the end I don’t think Madie was too upset to share the day!!

AQUARIUM

After many months of work we finally have our saltwater tank looking VERY good. We’ve been adding lots of coral and a few fish over the past 6+ months and it’s looking very good. We have a large selection of corals in the tank now and as you can see all of them are very healthy and growing very fast. look at the pictures and movies of the tank by selecting PICTURES or MOVIES above!

2008 Disney World Vacation

For Karen and Jennifer’s birthdays we met up with the Feldman’s at Disney World for close to a week long vacation! The kids enjoyed seeing their cousins and getting to play with them. We hit all of the major Disney World Theme Parks (lots of walking). Because of it being their birthdays we were upgraded to nicer rooms and had many extras which was nice, although the resort had a hard time keeping Karen out of the free desserts each night!

At the character brunch everyone sang happy birthday to Karen and Jennifer. I filmed the event and you can view it in our “Movies” section of our site. In addition all of our pictures are saved in the “Photo’s” section as well!!

With all the walking and the hot humid air... we need a vacation for some “rest” now!!
