I started Shastonian.org back in 1996 - well before Friends Reunited and Facebook - mainly as an archive of photos and other memories of Old Shastonians.
By Old Shastonians, I mean the students and staff of the former Shaftesbury Grammar School for boys (SGS) and Shaftesbury High School for girls (SHS).
Over the years hundreds of Old Shastonians have registered.

The site includes photo albums for both SGS and SHS and a blog where you can post your news and memories of your schooldays.
