I hope this website helps you as a search committee or individual better understand me as a potential candidate. I want to thank you for taking the time to consider me and I want to make sure that I use your time well.  You’ll notice that this site has four simple pages to it as I explain in my intro video above. Here is another breakdown in case you didn’t watch the short 4 minute video above;


  1. STORY: The first page is dedicated to sharing my story with you. On this page you will find out more about who has shaped me, how my wife and I met and a snap shot of our families story, as well as my ministerial journey.


  3. RESUME: The second page is dedicated to my resume where there are helpful downloads for your committee in case you have not received them in advance such as a pdf copy of my resume, as well as the 5 C’s of identifying a fit between myself as a pastoral candidate and your church’s need. On this second page there is also a side bar with personal information about me and links to some of my web-based sites  (my LinkedIn account, my Wordpress blog, my Flickr account, and my Facebook page).


  5. RECOMMENDATIONS: The third page is dedicated to sharing with you recommendations from the three previous churches I served with. I’ve intentionally followed the common practice of listing managers, peers, and church members as recommendations from each of the three churches I’ve served.


  7. MINISTRY SAMPLES: The fourth and final page is dedicated to ministry samples for you to be able to explore my performance strengths and weaknesses: Sermons (a single sermon & a sermon series), discipleship class presentations (handouts & visual presentations), training materials for ministry programs areas (Small Groups), and graphic & interior design samples.
