　ShINC projectは、2回目となる「￥3,000で写真売りましょ! 買いましょ! 展」を東京都目黒区のギャラリーコスモスで10月6日から開催する。オリジナルプリントをCDや書籍と同様の3,000円という価格で販売する試み。
私の作品もオープンエディションで何点か出品していますので、探してみて下さい。

先日発表されたInternational Photography Awards 2009で、３つの部門で入賞しました！作品を作るにあたりご協力頂いた皆様、本当にありがとうございました。

2009 International Photography Awards Announces Winners of the Competition

Tomohide Ikeya was awarded in the International Photography Awards Competition. International Photography Awards (IPA) has announced the winners of 2009's competition.  Tomohide Ikeya was Awarded: 1st place in People - Other category & 2nd place in Special - Moving Images category for the winning entry "BREATH." AND 2nd place in Advertising - Catalogue category for the winning entry "Nude Jewelry."   ABOUT Winner:
I am currently working as a freelance photographer in Japan, dealing with clients like a editorial and advertising works, I am making my own art works. These were widely acclaimed. One of my works "WAVE" was awarded 1st place in the category "Advertising (self promotion) of International Photography Award 2007. And "WAVE" and "BREATH" (sequel to "WAVE") were given honorable mentions in "Water" competition of Prix de la Photographie Paris 2008. My works were featured in magazines that included a famous photography magazine "DC PHOTO" in Hong Kong. In July 2008, my first one-man exhibition was held at epSITE which was an art gallery sponsored by EPSON. In Feb. 2009, a group exhibition was held at SEIBU Shibuya which was a big-name department store in Japan. I joined that as one of the six up-and-coming photographers in Japan.  ABOUT IPA: The 2009 International Photography Awards received nearly 18,000 submissions from 104 countries across the globe. IPA is a sister-effort of the Lucie Foundation, where the top three winners are announced at the annual Lucie Awards gala ceremony. The Foundation's mission is to honor master photographers, to discover new and emerging talent and to promote the appreciation of photography. Since 2003, IPA has had the privilege and opportunity to acknowledge and recognize contemporary photographer's accomplishments in this specialized and highly visible competition. PX3 2009 PEOPLE'S CHOICE WINNERS ANNOUNCED

In its very successful third year, Px3 received over six thousands entries. Entries were judged by category: Advertising, Photojournalism, Book, Fine Art, Nature, and Portraiture, all which contain various sub-categories.

In this years People's Choice Awards there was a total of 17,987 tallied votes. In the past we have had an overwhelming amount of participation with public votes. Collectively we have had over 55,000 public votes.

The names of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place subcategory winners will be listed in the Px3 2009 Annual Book.
