Well folks, it has been over one hundred fifty years since we have hunted elk in Tennessee and now five individuals will have a chance to harvest a trophy. The North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area has been home to a growing number of elk for the past 9 years. Because of the hard work of TWRA and its partners, Craig Gardner, Charles Ray Flynn, Ronald L. Woodard, and Jeffery L. Moses, will have a shot at a trophy bull elk in October. Congratulations to all and good luck on this once in a lifetime hunt.
