The TechSavvyGirlz is all about mixing technology with learning and fun. We use technology to make teaching easier and learning more fun. Also, using technology lets us have more possibilities to learn more deeply. For example, if we have a project we can use iMovie, Garageband, Powerpoint, and other applications to present the information in a creative way.

As we said before, technology makes learning more interesting.  This is good because it interests kids who might not like learning because they think the “old-fashioned” way is boring. If we do use technology to teach and learn, more people, especially kids, will be engaged. This is particularly useful in schools because it helps get more kids to like learning and to apply themselves better. This might even help kids do better in school. Therefore, technology will ultimately enhance the curriculum being taught in schools everywhere.

Another bonus about using technology is that we can learn more because it brings up resources and information in shorter time. The TechSavvyGirlz hope that technology will help people around the world learn more and spark their imagination and creativity.
