I’m preparing the 60” loom for a tapestry that will be 54” w x 48” h.  Preparation is important to making a well crafted fabric as the tapestry is created.  Here are a few photos of the beginning process, from winding the warp to beaming the loom.  The warp I’ve chosen is a 12/18 cotton seine twine sett at 6 ends per inch.  The weft will be several strands of wool.
