The Alley Cats Home

The Alley Cats’ Arts in Education program, “The Do-Re-Mi’s of Doo Wop”, is a music program that introduces students to the American Art Form known as Doo-Wop. Students learn about the music of the era, and the musical terms pitch, tempo, harmony, and a cappella. For more information, click here.

The Cats are headed to Las Vegas once again where they will appear with former Tonight Show host and Comedian Jay Leno at The Mirage. The show is on Friday and Saturday night October 16 & 17 at 10 PM. Tickets are available at www.Mirage.com.

To commemorate more than 20 years of a cappella bliss, the new CD is a fan-voted Greatest Hits Record. The CD features fan favorites from prior CDs, a handful of brand new recordings, and some surprises. Also included are never-before-released tracks, highlighted by the return of the group’s four original members.

On July 1, 2009, Conan O’ Brien of The Tonight Show visited The Alley Cats booth at the Barbershop Harmony Convention. Conan interviewed the Cats where they discussed the difference between Barbershop and Doo-Wop. The Tonight Show host even joined in on an Alley Cat favorite, Come Go With Me.
