We have done our best to prepare a more complete and easy to use price list. Here are several points we would like to turn your attention to:

HULL

  1. BulletWe are offering two types of hull technology: Vinylester hand lay up and Vinylester infusion. We are using high grade vinylester resin, which will insure long years of boat usage at extreme conditions.

  2. Bullet60l fuel tank inside the double bottom is part of our standard features; easily replaceable, adding to very low center of gravity. The tank is made of cross-linked polyethylene, avoiding any corrosion and galvanic problems. Empty tank just 6kgs(inox 22kgs), saving 16kgs of total weight.

CONSOLE

  1. BulletWe have added as a standard feature on all our boats waterproof box on top of console with 12V charger installed inside. This offers dry communication devices storage and adds to the boat’s safety features.

  2. BulletStainless steel handle is now a standard feature that makes it easier to hold on to the console, again adding to the safety of the boat.

  3. BulletAll consoles are prepared for left hand controls (our experience is that coaches usually use their right hand to take photos and video). Right hand control is an option.

TUBES

  1. BulletThe standard company color for tubes is Alpine Blue. This is the color we would like people to recognize us for. Other tube colors are available as options.

  2. BulletWe have added additional rubbing strakes protection under the bow on all boats as standard. Additional layer of hypalon (black) is available as option.

EXTRAS

  1. BulletWe are only offering bimini top from stainless steel and sunbrella roof. It is high quality, very strong and it will last a long time. We are offering our existing customers to refit the bimini top. It can be sent by plane, the package is very small. We will not offer the cheap version any more as the quality is not satisfactory.

  2. BulletFor our covers we are using new PVC material, which is very strong and is perfect for road transport. The covers are reinforced on every possible tearing point. We are now offering also light weight covers, which we mainly recommend for storage usage. They are very easy to use.

  3. BulletIn 2010 removable tow post, as an important safety feature will also be available for VSR 5.4.  Towing in bad weather without a tow post is extremely difficult. More attention to be paid if towing bigger boats. May not be strong enough for towing bigger keel boats.

  4. BulletBack custom box is watertight and very useful. We strongly recommend to use only the small box on 4.9 and 5.4, because of center of gravity. In 2010 we are also offering forward box (in front of console) for better balancing of the center of gravity (not available only for VSR4.9).

  5. BulletWe are now offering a 110 L fuel tank, which fits inside the seat.

TRAILERS

  1. BulletFrom 2010 we will be offering Harbeck trailers and one economical option from CBS (France).

ENGINES

  1. BulletIn 2010 we will be offering Yamaha, Honda, Tohatsu and Suzuki engines. We found the best choices for our boats to be the following engines:

  2. VSR4.9: Honda 30 and the more economic option Tohatsu 30. Tohatsu 30 without trim and hand starting is perfect low cost, low weight, high quality product for sailing clubs. Both engines are very light, only 72.5 kg. More powerful option: Yamaha 40 (90.4kg).

  3. VSR5.4 we strongly recommend Honda 50 (98 kg).

  4. VSR5.8C and 5.8R we suggest Honda 50 or Yamaha 60 (110 kg).

  5. Hydraulics: we recommend side mounted Seastar for engines 30, 40 and Honda 50 HP and Front mounted Seastar for 60 HP. With Yamaha 50 HP we offer front mounted! We found out that Yamaha 50 and 60 HP do not have strong enough engine support and some times cause side mount Seastar to bend.

  6. Honda engines use smaller and lighter batteries.

  7. Yamaha now offers a plastic filter, which works very well and can be used on other engines if necessary.
