My story begins, I was sitting in my house in a small town. My son had turned eighteen and moved out and I was sitting there by all myself doing nothing. Then it hit me So there I was needing something to do with my time I had always dreamed of living on a big wood boat in south Florida but I needed to get a boat. So why don’t I get another boat. So I started looking and found this old 62 foot yacht sitting on the bank rotting away. This thing was huge. After seven months of trying to work a deal. There was still a 85k lean on the boat and the biggest thing was the marina didn’t think I could fix the boat and they didn’t want the boat still sitting in there parking lot for five years. I got the boat and the rest is history. I had always had a passion for the water and old wood boats and now it was time to prove what I was made of. Everyone thought I was nuts and I would never get the boat to float and the engines still had water in then since June 2005 after it had sank. It was a up hill battle but I knew I could do it. So in October 2006 I started worhing on the boat.
