Welcome
Welcome
In 1998 we were called to serve in Dapaong, Togo which is a country located in West Africa. The first 2 or 3 years were spent learning french (the national language), Moba (the local language), and African culture. In 2001 Glenn became the director/professor of an international theological seminary (Centre Lutherien d’Etudes Theologiques) located in Dapaong. The seminary trains pastors from french speaking African countries: Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, Congo-Brazzaville, Congo-Kinshasa, Ivory Coast, and Guinea. In 2007 Glenn stepped down from being director and became the Academic Dean/professor. He continued to teach while developing curriculum. Now, in 2009 we are in the process of moving to Pretoria, South Africa where Glenn will work at Lutheran Theological Seminary (LTS) and continue to work with Lutheran churches in French speaking countries in Africa with theological and pastoral education.
This website is being created by Susan and is still in the creation process. Please bear with us as she learns and tries to create a user friendly website. If you would like to receive Glenn’s prayer letter just email me (click the email me buttone on the bottom of the page) and I will let him know.
