Sudan Hope is a grass-roots level truly dynamic nonprofit organization co-founded by Stephen Khor Chambang  (Sudanese refugee) and Les LaMotte (Entrepreneur) on 9/11(September 11, 2001). It was registered on December 12, 2003, as a 501(c)(3) as a NonProfit International Humanitarian Organization  registered both in the U.S. and in South Sudan, Africa.

Its mission as an NGO (Non Governmental Organization) is to help the marginalized people of Southern Sudan to “Self Empowered” after 50 years of war and destruction to focus on the “Rebirth and Building of a Nation”. The lions share of our fundraising efforts are directed to the greatest needs presented by the thousands of war handicapped, widows and orphans and rural village people of South Sudan.
