Gay Men’s
Support Group

We meet each Monday from 7:30–9:00 p.m. at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, 2931 Kingston Pike. The church is located on the north side of Kingston Pike.

We hold facilitated discussion on topics and issues relevant to local gay men in a safe and open environment. The group is open to anyone to drop in each week; no long-term commitment is required to join. Attendance varies from 10 to 25. Most attendees are between 30 and 55. Dress is casual. There is no charge for the group, but giving $1 per person for room use if you can is appreciated. The only Mondays we don’t hold meetings are on holidays and the Monday after Christmas. We have been meeting weekly for over 15–years.

Upcoming Discussion Topics

Past Topics: coming out to family, the first date, long-term relationships, men’s health issues, stereotypes, among many others.
