Welcome back to the 2009-10 school year.  For my classes, grading for both seventh and eighth grade will be 30% for homework and class assignments, 30% for quizzes and notebook checks, and 40% for all writing assignments and tests. All students are expected to bring his or her English book, workbook, paper, and a pencil or pen to class every day.  The current class assignments will be posted on the homework page of the website, but be sure to check with your student and his or her assignment book.  I give them the list of activities for the upcoming week on Fridays.  Thank for all your hard work.
